PG&E PeakChoice Snapshot Process Evaluation Report

This report fulfills the requirement for PG&E to file a process evaluation associated with the 2008 marketing of the PeakChoice program. Resolution E-4127 (dated February 28, 2008), which authorized PeakChoice, also required that PG&E address a series of questions, and submit its responses on September 15, 2008.

This report is constructed as follows: first, a chronology of roll-out events is provided, which helps set the stage for some of the limitations associated with the scope of this evaluation effort.

Second, included is a discussion of the limitations associated with this snapshot process evaluation. Third, based on the accelerated roll-out that led up to the targeted market launch in June 2008, the report discusses the data sources (and their limitations) that were used in an attempt to address the questions posed by the Energy Division. Fourth, the report restates each of the respective questions and the accompanying response.
